In an innovative move, Bally’s Corporation has secured a long-term agreement with BKB, the entity known for revolutionizing bare-knuckle boxing. This partnership is set to introduce an advanced broadcast and technology-driven approach to the sport, aiming to enhance its appeal and accessibility to fans worldwide.
The collaboration was officially announced during a press conference at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi in Mississippi, marking a significant milestone in the sport’s evolution. Bally’s Corporation’s strategic initiative will leverage its comprehensive network of platforms and resources to promote BKB events, starting with a high-profile event scheduled for 9 January 2026.
Under this partnership, BKB’s events will be showcased across 60 countries, utilizing Bally’s Corporation’s expansive distribution capabilities. This move is aimed at significantly increasing the sport’s global audience and fostering a deeper engagement with fans.
Jon Lin, SVP and GM of Bally’s Media, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with BKB, a pioneer in the realm of bare-knuckle boxing. This partnership underscores our commitment to enhancing the viewer experience through innovative broadcast techniques and state-of-the-art technology.”
David Tetreault, CEO of BKB, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the potential for transformative growth, “Our alliance with Bally’s Corporation represents a pivotal moment for BKB. It enables us to leverage their extensive network and technological expertise to bring bare-knuckle boxing to a wider audience and elevate the sport to new heights.”
Central to this innovative approach is the incorporation of sensor technology into fighters’ wraps, a feature designed to capture and relay real-time data on punch metrics. This technology aims to enrich the viewing experience by providing detailed insights into each fighter’s performance, adding an unprecedented level of transparency and engagement to the sport.
The journey of BKB to this groundbreaking partnership began with its original rebranding in February 2025 from BYB Extreme. This strategic shift was further supported by a successful 2021 pilot with Oscar De La Hoya’s KO Entertainment, showcasing the potential for integrating cutting-edge technology in bare-knuckle boxing broadcasts.
Oscar De La Hoya, reflecting on the evolution of the sport and the significance of this partnership, remarked, “The collaboration between Bally’s Corporation and BKB heralds a new era for bare-knuckle boxing. It promises not only to expand the sport’s reach but also to enhance the fan experience with innovative technology that brings them closer to the action than ever before.”
This partnership is poised to redefine how fans engage with bare-knuckle boxing, offering a more immersive and interactive viewing experience. By combining Bally’s Corporation’s broadcast capabilities and BKB’s pioneering spirit, this alliance is set to propel the sport into a new era of popularity and innovation.
